Total Lunar Eclipse Dec 2011-2012 |
SEC India is being organised in the backdrop of a Total Lunar Eclipse occurring on Dec 10th 2011. A total lunar eclipse will take place on December 10, 2011. It will be the second of two total lunar eclipses in 2011, the first occurring on June 15.It will be visible from all of Asia and Australia, seen as rising over eastern Europe, and setting over northwest North America. In the Philippines, the lunar eclipse is seen visible just after sunset.
SPACE will observe this eclipse from historical heritage sites in India.
